About Our Prints
what are your canvas prints made of?
each canvas is printed on archival paper with a matte, fine-art finish, then hand stretched and wrapped over a wooden stretcher frame right here in our Pennsylvania studio. we use professional archival inks for lasting color and detail.
who takes the photographs?
we are anne and gary, married photographers. we have worked together since 1998 as Gridley+Graves Photographers. our work has appeared in Country Living, House Beautiful, Old House Journal, Arts & Antiques, and many other publications. every image in the made one at a time collection is drawn from our professional archive.
what sizes do you offer?
we offer two sizes — 14×14 inches square and 14×19 inches vertical. each photograph is available in one size only, based on how it was originally composed. the size is listed on each product page.
how is the canvas finished on the back?
each canvas is hand wrapped with the image continuing approximately ¼ inch around the edges, finishing in a clean white border for a gallery-style presentation. they arrive ready to hang.
Ordering
how do I place an order?
simply add the canvas you love to your cart and check out through our secure storefront. we accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
can I cancel my order?
yes — we accept cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order. because each canvas is made specifically for you, we are unable to cancel once production has begun. to cancel, contact us at studio@madeoneatatime.com as soon as possible.
do you accept returns?
because every canvas is made to order by hand, we do not accept returns. if your canvas arrives damaged, please see our damage policy in the production and shipping section below.
can I order a custom size or a different image than what's listed?
at this time we offer only the sizes and images available in our current collection. we add new images regularly — sign up for our email list to be notified of new arrivals.
Production and Shipping
how long does it take to receive my order?
each canvas is made to order in our studio. please allow 3-4 business days for production. once shipped, delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
how is my order shipped?
all orders ship with tracking and are carefully packaged with corner protectors and a rigid corrugated box to protect your canvas in transit.
do you ship internationally?
right now we ship within the United States only.
what if my canvas arrives damaged?
we will replace it promptly, no questions asked. please photograph the damage and contact us at studio@madeoneatatime.com within 48 hours of delivery. we will take it from there.
what if my package is lost?
if your package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will reship your order at no charge.
do you ever close the studio?
occasionally we travel for photography work. when we are away, we post a notice on the site with adjusted shipping timeframes so you always know when to expect your order.

we are anne and gary, photographers based in a studio along the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. we have photographed together since 1998 as Gridley+Graves Photographers. our work has appeared in Country Living, House Beautiful, Old House Journal, Arts & Antiques, Country Sampler Home, and many other publications. made one at a time grows from that work — our professional archive brought to life as fine art canvas prints, printed and hand wrapped by us in our studio.
why canvas?
canvas brings a photograph into a room in a way that feels like art rather than decoration. the texture, the depth, the gallery wrap edge — it changes how a photograph lives on a wall. we print and wrap every canvas ourselves because we care about how it looks and how it lasts.
why only two sizes?
we believe in editing carefully. each photograph exists in one size because that is how it was composed. the proportions are part of the picture.
how often do you add new images?
we add new images in small drops every six to eight weeks. sign up for our email list to be notified first.
